Night in the City Neighborhood

The Inspiration Challenge on SCS today is a line of bedding from Boodalee.  I didn’t choose to work with the Pink or Teal bedding set but chose the City set instead.  You can see a picture of the duvet cover below.

City Collection : Duvet Set Swatch

I chose to work with the colors of blue, grey and mustard and added some green as well. I pulled out a Rubbernecker KK Original Fun Stuff collection called The Neighboorhood. I stamped the row of houses twice to create a full city block of neighborhood and colored with markers. I sketched in the utility poles and wires with an artist pen and sketched in the sidewalks as well. I thought it would be fun to have this as a night scene and created a dark sky with some moonlight flowing down on the houses and added a big, popped up moon for dimension.  I added a Cuttlebug embossed piece at the bottom to appear as an old city brick street.  What fun!
