Challenges Combined

The Ways to Use It Challenge on Thursday on SCS was to use Chipboard and the Limited Supply Challenge today was to use no stamps at all.  I had just recently purchased some BasicGrey Sugared Designer Paper as well as some darling Debbie Mumm paper at Jo-Anns. I have created a chipboard project that used no stamps at all, one chipboard project that had a darling window scene and a Noah’s Ark scene with images cut out of the designer paper.  What fun!

Isn’t he the cutest elephant you ever saw and isn’t the paper just gorgeous behind him.  I called this my ten minute card as that is all it took to slap some paper and ribbon on the cardstock and then apply the chipboard sticker.  No Stamps!!

I used a chipboard scalloped border as a window sill and valance on this card and painted them with Tattered Rose Crackle Paint.  The Rubbernecker image from the Baby Collection was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with reinkers. Drapes were made of vellum and run through a dotted Cuttlebug folder.

I found a wonderful 4.5" x 6.5" pack of Noah’s Ark paper by Debbie Mumm at Jo-Ann’s.  Oh my lands.  I have no idea why I bought it as it is really busy paper but there were so many wonderful sheets that would make perfect background layers.  When the LSC called for a card using no stamps at all today I knew I would use this.  All of these images came beautifully framed like the dove tag above and were all on a page   I used two sheets and cut all of the animals out of their frame to I could place them in the scene.  This was a little difficult to photograph and the photo does not do this justice.  These images are glittery and shiny and so full of life.  No Stamps!

The Noah’s Ark card is just darling! You’ve really outdone yourself with this trio of cards. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent.
