The Inspiration Challenge on SCS today had some beautiful candles made by Paprus – En Fleur. Here is a picture of one of the sets given as inspiration.
The candles are very pretty but I was far more inspired by Stephanie’s (SmilynStef our challenge hostess) card than I was the candle. I love the black and white details of her piece and I am including a picture of it below.
I used mustard paper to create my floral scene on and added the white to my card by creating a shadow box with an eyelet type trim. I think the black and white are perfect contrast to the mustard. I stamped all the images with black craft ink and embossed with black embossing powder. I stamped the image again on scrap mustard and cut out to pop up in the scene. I love how this turned out.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamp Company– KK Originals Flowers
Paper: Black, White, Mustard
Ink: Black Craft
Accessories: Hole Punch, Needle, Scalloped Scissors, Black Embossing Powder, Grosgrain, Mounting Tape, Glue Dots

The framed flowers are gorgeous, I love the eyelet and the dimension. Outstanding Kittie!
