he Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS today has MMBC aka Maren as our featured artist. I love the layout she used for this card. I used almost repeated her layout perfectly but changed up the subject matter and color combination. I chose to work with Rubbernecker's Flag Chickie and create a fun and patriotic card. I think he is so cute. I stamped him on watercolor paper and painted him with reinkers and a brush. I stamped the image again so I could have second helmet and flag to pop up in the little scene. I added a long flag pole. I used diamond glaze to coat the the popped up pieces to add shine. I added a scalloped blue layer and red polka dot layer with the red gingham ribbon for a fun background to the image. This was a fun project to do.
