Cupcakes and Sunflowers

Taylor’s challenge on SCS’s Dare To Get Dirty Challenge today is to make a card with a cupcake theme.  I think Baking Riley is the perfect image to use but I think it looks more like Riley’s mom serving up yummy cupcakes.

I stamped the image with Archival Black ink and watercolored with reinkers.  I framed the image using layers cut with Nestabilities dies.  I frosted the cupcakes with Liquid Applique and heated.  I used glitter glue to add sparkle to the tray and oven mitts.  Isn’t this the cutest image ever?

I may get to do another challenge card today and will come back and post it to this article.

I got to play in Joan’s Silhouette Challenge this evening.  I pulled out Serene Sunflowers and tried my hand at creating a silhouette project and distrssed the project as well. I love the look of this card and how the flowers seem to be popping out of the scene.
