The Limited Supply Challenge on SCS today was to use red, white and blue. I have these adorable Rubbernecker images that have not seen ink yet and decided they all had to be used for my challenge card. All images were stamped with versafine black on watercolor paper, watercolored with reinkers-SU Brocade Blue, Distress Fired Brick, SU Grey, Mustard and White Craft Ink and cut out. I have a very hard time painting with red when it is near anything white. I got so frustrated at the bleeding that I eventually got out white craft ink, painted over the necessary white areas and embossed with white embossing powder. Thus….all the blobby white stripes and stars. I loved the three little guys all together anyway…no matter how smudgy they looked. I used some Christmas red and white striped dp for the background along with plain white and Brocade Blue cardstock. Fun challenge.
