I love Riley. I think he is one of the cutest stamped images ever and he has quickly become a favorite of mine. I was lucky enough a couple of weeks ago to be asked to join the Hanna Stamps design team and I jumped at the chance as I knew there would be more Riley’s images in my future. I am thrilled to work with the wonderful group of designers on this team and appreciate so much that Kristi invited me to be a member.
I thought it would be fun to use Riley for the Ways to Use It challenge to use scoring. I scored my little “Moose Me?” sentiment. It really doesn’t show very well in the photo. I stamped Riley on watercolor paper and watercolored him with reinkers. I added the tree images from my Kittie Kit Outdoor set, watercolored them and sponged on the background area for the ground and trees. I used a tiny leaf image from my set to fill in the tree leaves and a small grass sprig image for the ground area. I sponged on a little grey for the country road that Riley is driving down. I think he is so adorable in his little car. If you notice a couple of lines on the car that really aren’t on the stamp….it is because I accidentally made a mark on the car with a marker after the scene was totally assembled and I wasn’t going to give it up after all that work. I decided to add a trunk and hood to the car instead.
