*** NEW***Ranger Adirondack Pigment Pads & Reinkers on Sale***NEW***
I am having so much fun with my new batch of Rubbernecker Halloween images. I am really not into Halloween card much and never would enjoy doing strange or ugly projects. But these images are fun and really not scary at all. Today is the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS and Kim aka Blondie090277 is the featured artist. I chose a very elegant project to case but put a totally different twist to the theme. See Kim's card below.
I used the same masking technique that Kim used on her project. I created a square mask and attached to a piece of vanilla cardstock and sponged on Distress Antique Linen ink with an ink blending tool and foam. I removed the mask and stamped the tree and bat images with black craft ink and embossed with clear ep. I stamped the pumpkin and additional bats on scrap paper with black craft and embossed them and cut them out and popped them up on the scene. I sponged in Distress Dried Marigold ink in the moon image. I painted the pumpkin with Distress Dried Marigold and Peeled Paint. I used a black glaze pen to create the little dotted border and some of them got messed up but I really like addition. I used black twill to finish the piece and popped the pumpkin over it.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Halloween Collection-Bat Set, Stamp Oasis Spooky Tree, Little Lovin's Pumpkin
Paper: Black, Vanilla

Here is another fun Halloween project using Rubbernecker Halloween Collection -Treat Kitty. I think he is so darling popping out of his Trick or Treat bag.
I stamped the image with black craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I watercolored with Distress Dried Marigold, Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade and Adironack Caramel. I masked the image and sponged on Basic Gray all around the image leaving a little area free around the star so I could make it glow in the night.
I used Making Memories Halloween deisgner paper in a 6" by 6" stack pack for contrast to the image. I punched a black border with the SU scalloped punch and created the scalloped frame with Nestabilities long scallped dies. I used black glaze and Inkssential white marker to add the faux dots and stiches.
