Little Dracula And His Bat and The Sale Continues

Rubbernecker is hosting a sale on all the new Ranger Adirondack Pigment inks and reinkers. And if that isn't enough all orders for product totalling $25 (stamps or cusion excluded) will receive an additional 10% off the entire order. That is a great deal. Go check it out.

I did my project for the SCS Sketch Challenge. I have so many Halloween stamps from new Rubbernecker Halloween collection that I just can't stop using them. I'm not much for "real spooky"  stuff for my Halloween projects. I like cute and fun images and designer paper that makes me laugh or smile and not scare me to death.  No blood and guts stuff for me.  I think this little boy Dracula and his bat on a string is so fun.  I hope no one thinks I need a pet bat and sends me one.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and then again on scrap paper.  I wanted to cut out the cape, bat and treat bag to pop up. I watercolored all the images with reinker and assembled the card.  I used glue dots to adhere three layers of bat and dimensions to attach the cape. My big orange moon was absolutely gorgeous and I decided to add some sparkle to it with a clear glaze pen…..only I had the white glaze pen.  It ruined the moon and I had totally finished the card so I took my orange marker and colored over the white glaze.  Ugh!  I got the treat bag on crooked and pulled it off to straighten and pulled off a chunk of the painted watercolor paper and had to cover it with a bow.  This did not need a bow but that is the way it goes. Oh well….I still think it is darling.  I thought the orange moon would look fun with the circle designer paper.
