I am thrilled to announce that I was notified this week by Stamper's Quest Magazine that I was one of six new designers chosen to join their team of Artist Guides. If you aren't familiar with the magazine hop on over and check it out. You will love what you find there.
Pink Inspiration
The Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge today continued the week's focus on Breast Cancer Awareness by making available several different pictures of pink bedding from JC Penney. I loved the pale pink, yellow and green with the pure white contrast of the bedding shown here.
I changed the theme on my piece from flowers to a winter snowy scene using a darling little Ezlybells image colored in pale pink with pale green contrast. I stamped the image with brilliance black on Papertrey Shimmery white cardstock. I watercolored with Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss, Caramel, Banana and Sahara Sand. I sponged the sky area with pale banana and then painted snow on the ground using white craft ink and a brush and also created falling snow with a tiny brush and white craft ink. I embossed with white embossing powder. I wanted to create the look of a quilt so I used paper piercing on the scalloped layers. The pale green cardstock was created by sponging Kiwi on Shimmery White cardstock. I used a delicate snowflake image from Rubbernecker– Christmas Mini 1 set to stamp white craft ink on the pink base layer and embossed with white embossing powder.
I used Stickles clear to add sparkle and glow to the scene.

Congrats Kittie. Your stuff is going to really add some punch to it. I checked out the mag since I’ve never heard of it. Is it like an online magazine or something? Looks pretty cool to me.
