The Stampavie Challenge this week is to create a scene. Check out the details, come play along and you will have a chance to win a secret prize.
I have been doing so many snow scene holiday cards lately that I decided to change it up a bit and do a green scene. The Rachelle Anne Miller Going Fishing elephant is darling and perfect walking down the lake path to go fishing.
I stamped the image and covered with a mask to protect while I sponged on the brown path, green grass and the blue water and then stamped the trees. I used a small sponge dauber to apply an additional bit of color at the base of the trees along the far side of the lake and then stamped in a few sprigs of grass along the path. I removed the mask and painted the image using reinkers, water and a brush. I sponged in the sky area with a bit of yellow and blue.
