I love making Christmas cards and always need to start around this time of year to get enough made for family and friends. I have never been one to mass produce my cards as I hate repetition. The new Christmas 2010 release by Stampavie has so many wonderful new images to play with and nothing screams winter holiday like a snow scene filled with snowmen. I want to share my first project using Penny Johnson’s A Magical Christmas.
There is nothing I enjoy more than a good cup of coffee unless it is sharing it with a good friend. Rubbernecker’s Coffee Time set has fun sentiments based on both coffee and friendship.
Creating outdoor scenes is my favorite kind of card project. Creating a clean and simple one layer card is a little more challenging but allows the scene to be the main focus without lots of designer papers and layers of cardstock. Using the reverse mask technique creates a natural frame around the scene. The images in my sunflower garden are from Rubbernecker’s Kittie Kits In My Garden.
I’m sorry that my blog posting is not as consistent as it used to be. Stamping is my great stress release from my busy work schedule and sometimes it’s hard to fit both stamping and blogging in in the evening after work.
I hope you have a great week.

Wonderful designs Kittie, the snowman scene steals my heart! So adorable and creative. I’m with you on the coffee . . . LOL . . . working on my second cup now . . . and what a totally adorable garden scene . . . so sweet! I know what you mean about the blogging . . . I haven’t posted since Daniel and I went to Nashville. The summers come up and I think I’m going to have all this stamping time; when, in reality, I have much less and I want to spend every minute with my guys while they’re home. Fall is coming up and, hopefully, I’ll get back into a routine. Hugs, Jerri
Great snowman card-your coloring is always so wonderful. I, too, like coffee stamps so like that card and another fav is sunflowers so I love all your cards. Can’t beat snowmen and sunflowers!!
To say “I love the snowman card” just doesn’t do it justice! It’s amazing! Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait until September.
I hear you on the time issue thing, Kittie. There’s never enough of it for all we want to do.
I love the beautiful projects you’ve shared with us today. I adore snowmen and your use of that vibrant red. Your snow scenes are always adorable.

Sandra
so love your snowmen, they are just too cute, and your sunflowers are gorgeous!!
Wow, Kittie! 3 scenes…all very different…all just fabulous!! The coffee one is so unlike your normal style but so cool!!! Love them all!
Your little scenes are, of course, just as cute as can be, but I really like your coffee card….it is not your usual style and I just love the colors and layout you chose!!
