I had a fun time playing in the Splitcoaststampers challenges over the holiday weekend and using images from the Stampavie Christmas 2010 Collection and Rubbernecker Stamps.
In the the first project I used Sarah Kay’s Rose Cuddling the Winter Bunny. This image is so sweet and touches my heart.
Here is a closer look to show the dimension between Rose and the snowy tree scene behind her.
You can check out my multi loop bow tutorial if you would like to learn how I made my bow.
The second project is a pop up stage card made for the Technique Lover’s Challenge. You can find the tutorial for this project on Paper Punch Addiction provided by Kim Score. I used one of the new Laurence Design images called Star Gazing. I stamped and painted the tree and bears and cut away the scene part of the image so I could place the bears on the stage and show the mountains, trees and the bright star off in the distance.
Here is the full image with the scene around the bears.
This is the belly band I made to fit around the card when it is closed.
This pop up stage card was a real challenge for me. I am paper challenged when it comes to measuring and intricate details but I really enjoyed the process.
My third project was made using the Rubbernecker Winter Holliday Set Carolers with Lamppost. I love the funny expression on the faces of the carolers.
The fourth is a fun masculine card made using Kittie Kits The Moose is Loose set. I especially love the tree scene behind the moose.
The last project is a snowy scene created with a Rubbernecker image The Neighborhood and the trees are from Kittie Kits The Moose is Loose. It has been pretty warm here in Florida and it was fun to cool off my thoughts by shoveling all those sidewalks.
I hope you enjoy your Wednesday and the rest of the week.
All of these are just fabulous, I love the coloring and details you put into each one.
the first image is darling, love the bears, they remind me of the coca-cola commercials. love your lamp post with the carolers
They are all so adorable Kittie, I just love your winter scenes! You put so much love into each and every design, it shows in the finished masterpieces.
