Are you one of those people that has the special creative touch with the clean and simple card style? I’m not. They actually appear to be deceptively easy until you sit down to create one and you realize how difficult it can be.
I had fun this weekend playing in the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoaststampers. We honored Alison aka alimarbles and I was inspired by this clean and simple birthday card. I decided to recreate Alison’s card layout but changed the theme and color combination for a Christmas card.
I love how sweet and simple the little punched bird looks sitting on the evergreen branch with the touch of polar white Flower Soft snow. The script sentiment “Wishing you all the wonder, joy, and peace the season brings” seemed perfect for this nature inspired holiday card.
It’s cooling down a little here in Florida and actually feels a little like fall is in the air. That can only mean the holidays are right around the corner.
Have a great week.
