Christmas Cards

I have made several cards for SCS challenges over the last week or so but haven’t been able to post for a while.  I thought I would a post bunch of them all in one article.  I have such a fun time making Christmas cards each year and always feel a little sad when the holiday is over.

I love this all green and white card with the touch of red with the little punched bird.  The trees layers were created with a border punch and then crimped with a wavy crimper.  I created the multi loop bow with white organdy ribbon and added little punched pine sprigs for the perfect finishing touch,

Here’s another simple card using hunter green with the little punched bird perched on a snowy evergreen bough.  Here’s a closer look to show how sweet the Flower Soft looks on the branches.

I had the happy fortune to win a gift from Our Daily Bread Designs during their new release blog hop.  Here is a card I made with the lovely Poinsettia Tag set and punch that I won.

I have really enjoyed making projects using my little Martha Stewart Pine Punch.  I have no idea why they would have retired this punch because so many people are trying to find it.  I got the idea to make a wreath using the punch when I saw Karen’s darling card and tutorial on Syzygy Of Me.  Here is what I came up with. The little white multi loop bow was a perfect finishing touch. It is so simple and yet so fun for a holiday card.

Even though these clean and simple card designs are sort of rare for me I enjoyed them.  The first one is using Rubbernecker’s Snowy Night.

The second one is using the retired Stampin’ Up! Festive Favorites.

I hope you are all having a great week.
