Good morning and Merry Christmas to each of you.. I hope this finds you happy, healthy and enjoying this wonderful holiday. I want to share a peaceful winter scene with you that perfectly reflects my childhood Christmas memories in West Virginia with my parents and sisters. I have celebrated many wonderful holidays during my life but my childhood memories are the most special.
I stamped the evergreen tree from Flourishes Forest of Trees several times on glossy paper using Olive craft ink and embossed. I sponged on yellow Distress Scattered Straw for the sunset and Bordering Blue for the night sky. I added snow to the ground, trees and falling snowflakes with Liquid Appliqué. I added glitter to the little snowflakes and the bordering edge of the frame.
Happy Holidays!

Beautiful card Kittie.
Have a Merry Christmas.
Beautiful winter scene, Kittie! Merry Christmas! We have a white Christmas. Only about an inch and that’s a good thing! Hugs!
Merry Christmas Kittie and I love the wintery look of your card, which is the way it should be looking outside right now, but isn’t. I love how your glittered the edge of the oval, nice touch.
Oh Kittie I really love your card – so unusual and so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your work and tips with us – please don’t ever tire of doing so!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas day and continued good health and happiness through the season and 2011.
