The Ways to Use It Challenge on SCS Thursday was to use glitter on our project. I don’t use glitter often but I dug out my Martha Stewart glitter so I could play along. I also dug out a cute image of Riley gathering his Christmas tree. I thought this whimsical image would be perfect for a sparkly scene.
I stamped Riley and several additional tree, painted and cut out. I added Glossy Accents to the base of the card and all the trees and sprinkled on glitter. I popped up the little sparkly trees all around Riley and love all the sparkle. I didn’t want to add blue to the sky as I really like the contrast of the red, green and white. This was a fun and fast little 4X4 card.
It’s hard to believe Christmas is only a week away. My oldest sister and brother-out-law are coming and I am so excited to see them. Bob and I are going to try a new adventure this weekend and attempt to make and decorate gingerbread boy and girl cookies. I’ll take a picture and share here whether they are really cute or really bad.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
