Just a Line

I am on vacation for the rest of this week and will enjoy preparing for my sister and brother-in-law coming for Christmas.  I am also going to work on some special design team projects due at the beginning of the year.

I am stepping away from Christmas with my project today.  I created this for a SCS challenge this week and used a retired 1997 Stampin’ Up! set- Just a Line.

KC Just a Line 5

I love this Graphic 45 designer paper and used the colors for my apron images.  Does anyone remember hanging laundry on the line?  I sure do.  The aprons, basket, cat and a few flower heads were stamped, painted and cut out to pop up for added dimension.  I left the background totally plain with no additional trees, etc so the aprons could be the main focus.  I used Ranger Distress and Adirondack reinkers for my coloring.

I hope you are having a great time preparing for the holiday.  I’m sure going to enjoy my time off of work this week.

Stamps: Just a Line
Paper: Celery, Graphic 45, Watercolor
Ink: Spun Sugar, Shabby Shutters, Antique Linen, Stormy Sky
Accessories: Scalloped Eyelet Border Punch, Ribbon, Glue Dots, Sponge

  2. What a pretty card… and cute stamp set! And yes, I remember my mother hanging clothes out on the line. I did have a clothesline at my last house in Ohio, but here in Colorado, the clothes would get blown into the next county a good part of the time! LOL!!! But, I do wish I still had a clothesline.
