Pink and Green

I love pink and green together. The combination makes me happy and can be used in so many different ways.  My first project is soft and elegant and makes a perfect all occasion card.

KC Magnolias
I stamped the Rubbernecker Magnolia image twice on watercolor paper with versa and embossed with gold embossing powder. Using reinkers and a brush I watercolored all the images and cut out the flowers of the second image and popped up over the main base layer.  I used a simple scalloped oval to layer the flowers and placed over a sweet piece of green designer paper.  The finishing touch was a pink organdy multi loop bow.

The second project uses the same green designer paper mixed with it’s own coordinating pink and green backside. I thought this was a darling combination for a baby card.

KC Babies 10
I stamped the Rubbernecker Baby Elephant on watercolor paper, painted and cut out.  I popped it up over a piece of vanilla cardstock with heart punched sides that matched the border dividing the two different papers.  I added the little pink hearts to match the hearts on the elephant and finished with a sweet satin multi loop bow.

I hope you have a great week.
