Have you checked out the new Spring and Summer release yet? There are so many darling new images. I am excited to share two of my favorite release projects with you. Both are new Tina Wenke’s images -Sent From Above and Storybook Friends.
I had so much fun with this little baby image floating with its balloon. The soft multi loop bow , flowers and foliage seemed the perfect embellishment. Here is a closer look so you can see the sparkle on the foliage and roses.
If I could possibly pick a favorite of the new release it would be the adorable Storybook Friends. The minute I saw the image I knew I wanted to place them sitting in a garden under a shade tree.
Instead of painting an outdoor scene around them I decided to use the delicious designer paper as a backdrop for the scene. I sketched and painted a tree trunk, and applied foliage for the leaves. The bench and girls were stamped on watercolor paper, painted and cut out and popped up over the paper. I applied the foliage and roses to create the garden around them. Take a closer look at these adorable little girls the sparkle on the foliage and roses. Have you ever seen any sweeter faces?
I hope you are enjoying all of our CHA release posts.
Both cards are truly adorable Kittie! I so love the baby girl card, she’s so adorable and I love the tiny roses sprinkled in the foliage, so pretty.
Both cards are absolutely adorable and beautifully created. Storybook Friends has to be one of my favourite stamps ever. You’ve done an excellent job showing it to the full potential.
These are so cute! Your work makes me smile. It’s wonderful that you are able to share your gift with so many of us. Thanks for all of your inspiration.
Like both cards but the Storybook Friends is so precious-well done-again!!
the baby card is just so sweet, love how you brought dimension to the card and your park scene is just so sweet, great idea for the tree and bushes1
Oooooooh, that darlin’ baby!
And how on earth did you tie that eeeeecy bow?!?
Then there are the girls!!
I think I’ll just sit here for a few and admire.
