Good morning. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. The spring weather here in Florida was beautiful, low humidity, cool nights in the 50s and warm 70s and low 80s during the day. Our forecast says we can expect the same all week. I think this may be our last hurrah before the hot sticky days of summer. I know there are many places in the US with hot and humid weather like Florida but not many that lasts for such a long period of time. I will enjoy these glorious days while I can.
I have a spring scene to share with you today made with a Stampavie Tina Wenke image called Mouse Cottage. To me the little cottage looks like it belongs on an English countryside with it’s vining roses and flower pots. The gardening mouse occupant couldn’t be any sweeter.

The image was painted with reinkers, water, and brush and cut out. I created tiny little flowerets with my 1/8" punch by scrunching the tiny circles around the point of my paper piercer and then attached them with Matte Accents over the vining flowers on the house as well as in the mouse's bonnet and flower basket. The tree trunk was sketched with an artist pen and painted and the tree top was sponged and then stamped with the little fern stamp from my Kittie Kits Outdoor Master. The sky was sponged with a hand cut scalloped cloud template. I created the frame by using a Martha Stewart punch around set and then cut the center out with a square Nestabilities dies. The scene and frame were mounted on the main card layer with mounting tape. After I attached the frame and scene to the main layer I realized that I had torn my pink frame mat. I created a little larger flowerets with circles made with my 3/8" punch and attached one over the torn spot. It looked cute so I applied them evenly around the whole frame. I think they look sweet and adding them kept me from strangling myself due to possibly ruining a totally finished project that took me a couple of hours to create. Anyone know that feeling? I will call the little flowerets a happy mistake.
Take a closer look at the tiny vining flowers on the cottage.
I hope you have a great week and havea littie time to get your fingers inky.

Kittie, this is another beautiful work of art by you! It is also wonderful to know that everything doesn’t come out perfect for you too, but you were able to work your magic and fix that boo-boo. TFS
Gorgeous framing of your image, that is neat how the problem was fixed and it added such a great touch to your project, Beautiful!
I love the frame it is beautiful as is the whole card. We are coming out to Florida in about 7 weeks for a whole month this time, can’t wait! It is our silver wedding anniversary, hope it’s not too hot and sticky by then!
