NOTICE: Martha Stewart Pine Punch available on Ebay
On April 9th I wrote a post about finding the very hard to locate Martha Stewart Pine Evergreen punches available on Ebay. The seller sold out of the punches but she has now replinished her supply as I see they are available again. Click on this link if you are interested. I am making this information available only because so many people have asked me who to find the punch. I do not have any connection to the seller on Ebay, get no financial gain from posting the punch and cannot vouch for the seller.
Good Sunday morning. The Splitcoaststampers Inspired Challenge featured the Ace of Cakes as our inspiration site. I love watching Ace of Cakes on the Food Network. They are all such creative and talented designers each with their own style and expertise. I was inspired by the Mountains cake you see below. I am no real artist but love the challengeof trying my hand at creating outdoor scenes with no stamps. I really love how my project turned out.
The grassy area, water and sky was sponged in with a Color Box stylus with sponge tips. The trees, mountain outline and the borderline around the water was created using Gary Burlin's dual mini tipped applicators. Once again I couldn't resist embellishing the frame with pine sprigs and tiny matching flowers made from 3/8 inch punched circles and formed with the small round tip of an embossing stylus. I added diamond stickles to the flowers, greenery and the water for a touch of whimsy.
I hope you have a great Sunday and upcoming week.
