Rubbernecker Preview Day Two

Welcome to Rubbernecker Stamps preview day two.  Rubbernecker will be releasing new stamps on Tuesday, May 3.  You will definitely want to visit all of our design team blog posts to win a chance to win a $15 Rubbernecker Stamps gift certificate.  You can find the complete list of today’s participants on the Rubbernecker Blog.  Be sure and check out the release blog hop tomorrow to see what the team has planned.

I have a couple clean and simple projects projects using the new images to share with you today. Clean and simple isn’t really my forte but I wanted to show how easy it is to create a sweet and colorful card with the main focus around a floral image.

 KC Marguerite

The first is using the Marguerite image.  I simply stamped the image on the white cardstock base and colored in the foliage.  I stamped the blooms again on designer paper and embossed with black embossing powder, heated and then cut them out to pop up over the main image.  I added a simple punched layer to the card base using the same designer paper and added a little white embossed strip to finish it off.

The second is using  the Wildflower Vine image.  I stamped the image directly on the white card base, painted, added a sentiment and knotted ribbon.  That’s all…it was done.  I think it is a sweet clean and simple notecard.

I hope you have fun checking out the other team members preview projects and commenting for a chance to win a Rubbernecker gift certificate.
