My project today is a new gladiola floral image. Gladiolas are one of my favorite flowers and remind me of my mother’s flower shop.
I stamped the image three times on watercolor paper, painted and cut out to create a bouquet. I added punched foliage around the stems to add dimension to the bouquet and then added tiny little white circle punched flowers for softness. The tiny punched flowers were made by placing a 1/8" punched circle on a mouse pad and pushing and squeezing the center down into the pad with a small tipped stylus. This curls the little cirle edges up to create a tiny little floweret. I thought they looked sweet grouped together in threes.
