Good Sunday morning. I am enjoying a quiet weekend at home with my husband, Bob. There are always weekend chores to do but I always find time for stamping as it is so relaxing and helps me “fill my cup”. My project today is made with an image and sentiment from the Stampavie Shabby Chic Frame in the Vintage Collection.
I created a tall card that is 7 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide. I stamped the frame image on mauve cardstock with versa, heat embossed with gold embossing powder and cut out. I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of cardstock and embossed. I didn’t want to stamp on the sentiment on the card base as heating sometimes make the paper pucker. I mounted the frame opening over the sentiment layer with mounting tape and then attached to the card front. I punched pine foliage from a piece of cardstock that I gold embossed and created mauve punched hydrangea flowers and arranged in a floral spray on the corner of the frame. I love how feminine, soft and delicate this turn out. Definitely a girlie girl kind of card. Here’s another couple of views.
Thanks for stopping by.

I came over here because I saw a card on SCS that absolutely is beautiful. I love your whole blog and the tutorials you have posted have inspired me to try my hand at some wreaths and sprays. Thank you, and I have subscribed.
