Autumn Glory

I got home early enough last night to play in the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge.  We were challenged to use leaves on our project and the first thing that came to my mind was pairing my Martha Stewart Oak Leaf punch with my Stampin’ Up Bird punch.  Here is what I came up with.

I crimped several pieces of fall colored cardstock and punched out leaves.  I punched the bird out in ruby red and the branches in chocolate brown.  I attached the branches and leaves to the vanilla cardstock base with Matte Accents to create a branch for the bird to perch on.  I love the simplicity of the leaves with the sentiment from Mark’s Finest Papers new Autumn Glory set.  Here’s another couple of views.

  1. Your autumn card is so pretty! I love the mix of fall colours for you lovely cascade of leaves and the crimping is a fun idea for the little bird. Lovely design! Matte accents makes such a great adhesive for sticking small die cuts down securely.
    Thanks for sharing! 🙂
