Fall Floral Spray

Good Saturday morning.  I hope you have had a good week.  The Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers today has provided Creature Comforts as our inspiration site.  I was inspired by an Inspiration Daily Fall post. I have copied the photos below.

I love to use mustard for fall projects and loved the leaves in the inspiration pictures. I was inspired to create a fall card with mustard colored paper flowers with lots of distressed foliage.

I combined scalloped die cut flowers and punched cornflowers to create a flower that looks like mums. I sponged all the flower layers with mustard ink and sponged darker layers of color on the sections closer in to the center to create more depth. I created two small mum buds using one punched cornflower for each and added to the floral spray for an additional touch of color.  I distressed the foliage stems to add more dimension to the spray and added touches of the punched pine to soften the arrangement.  I created a punched double matted frame and layered it over an embossed vanilla background,  I love how this turned out.  Here are a couple more views.
