I finished the portfolio set for my boss that I mentioned in my post yesterday. I ended up scrapping the 4.25” Fleur De Lis card and created a second regular A2 size card for the set. I finished the front of the portfolio with framed floral flourishes to match the note cards.
Here is the second note card design.
Here is the portfolio that will be tied with pink ribbons.
I wanted to show photographs of them all together and inside the portfolio and they weren’t easy pictures to take but at least you can get an idea of what the set will look like together. You can click on the photos for a little larger view.
I’ve had this portfolio template for several years and have used it many times. I will try to figure out a way to attach the template (I am technically challenged…LOL) to a page under my tutorial section for anyone who would like to have it.
I couldn’t fit more than two cards and envelopes inside the portfolio with the frames and flowers. I hope my boss will enjoy having the folder to put special cards or papers in after she has used her note cards.
The holiday weekend is very close. Only two more days to work and then I will be off for the whole week between Christmas and New Year. I am so looking forward to some time off. Thanks for stopping in and for your patience with three straight days of white and pink cards. Check out my tutorial section if you would like to see how I create my frames and flower sprays.

PS.
If you do ever post the Portfolio template, that would be wonderful, as would love to be able to attempt this in the new year.
And I hate to bother you, but do you mind saying again, what punches you used to make the flowers? I know it is in your past post some where, but don’t have time to go looking right now, will check back here to see if you have replied at some point.
Thanks Kittie. I know at some point you referred to a MS punch around the page set where the flowers dropped out, but for the life of me I can not figure out which one you are talking about, if you by chance know the name of that punch it would also be great.

I’ve been a SU (only) demonstrator for years and made some pretty things. But looking at your creations has opened my eyes to a whole new world. I love your 3D cards and I want to recreate them. I want to thank you for sharing your talent and giving so freely of your tutorials.

What a wonderful gift for your boss to receive. I wonder if she will save the cards until she feels that the recipient is “Kittie Card Worthy”??!!
I just recently came across your blog and I am in love with your work. The balance you achieve with the placement of the flowers and leaves is amazing. I know your experience working with flowers in a florist shop has helped you with this. I really appreciate your sharing with the tutorials. They are so clear and it makes it so easy to follow. I have ordered the MS pine branch punch because I was unable to find it in any of the stores I frequent. Thanks again and Merry Christmas
What a thoughtful gift, Kittie!! It would be tempting to place the portfolio as a piece of art in an area of the house to be seen every day. Stunning as usual, Kittie.
Enjoy your week off work.
Absolutely stunning work. You keep raising the bar for the rest of us!! Thank you so much for sharing. Have a very blessed Christmas, Kittie.
Hugs,
Geri
