Sweet Home Sentiments

I enjoyed using some of the new Memory Box dies that Santa brought me for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch we had to work with. This is lots more layers than I usually use but it was fun to stretch myself. Two of my new dies create a long border cut and I thought they would be perfect for this layout.

The Spring Border is so sweet and looked cute as a background for my Country House. I cut both dies twice, once in pink and once in green. I  cut the flowers of the pink off and layered over the green flowers and cut the green trim sections of the house and layered them over the pink house for contrast.KC Memory Box Country Home 1 center

I applied Stickles to the flowers and house trim for a touch of sparkle.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Board and Beams set.

My second project was made using the Memory Box Country Landscape.  I cut it out a few times in green, crimped them  and layered one over the other.  I cut a couple sets out in white and sponged pink on the houses and cut them and added to the landscape to create a sweet neighborhood.

  3. I recently discovered your blog and I am in love. I am so happy that you have a week off from work for a selfish reason. That means you will post more of your beautiful cards. I really like the window die you used yesterday. Do you know where I can get it?
