Happy Monday! I have been having a great time playing with brayering ink to the inside of embossing folders to create unique and lovely embossed backgrounds. I made today’s project just for fun to see how light pink ink would look on pure white cardstock. I like how it turned out.
I really like the long open frame over these backgrounds. It creates dimension and a point of interest but still allows the background to show well. I think the floral pattern is exceptionally pretty in white with the pale pink background.
I decided that pure white foliage would look perfect against the pink frame and with the tiny punched flowers on the vines. The little flowers are the punches left from the punch around the page punch used to create the frame. The pink butterflies with the white pearls are the perfect finishing touch. This project looks like it took lots longer than it really did and was lots of fun to make.
I would love for you to pop over to the Rubbernecker blog and check out my Kittie’s Korner post. Here is a little glimpse of my fun and cartoony project.
Have a great week and try to make time to get your fingers inky.
