Clean and Simple Umbrellas

I didn’t stamp anything last evening as I have been a little under the weather nursing a cold so I thought I would share a quick and fun project that I made last week for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge.

I scored lines on the card front to create a little visual texture for the all white back.

I loved these little umbrellas made using Memory Box Petite Umbrella die. I cut the handles off so I could pop the umbrella up with rolled up glue dots and then attached the handles flat on the cardstock. I added tiny little white bows for embellishment.

This would be a perfect baby shower card and even a great get well card.

I hope your week started off well.  Thanks for stopping by and for all your supportive comments.

  1. Now, if I looked at that umbrella die, I would wonder who would ever use it … well, of course, you not only used it but you have probably caused it’s sales to increase! Very cute card, Kittie.

  4. Sorry to hear you’re feeling ‘under the weather’ Kittie. I see it hasn’t done anything to your creativity! Love this spring card. The umbrellas are so cute and the embossed lines in the background really add to the overall look!!
