Baroque Inspired

Happy Monday morning.  I have another project to share with you today that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge.  The inspiration was a piece of vintage Baroque wallpaper see in the picture below.

Krösus - Bild 3

I was instantly drawn to use the Textile embossing folder and the Belleek Inspired Technique that I have fallen in love with.

KC Thinking of You 4 right

I brayered Adirondack Lake Mist ink on the embossing folder and embossed white cardstock.  I love how soft the light gray ink looks with the raised white embossing.

The white frame what punched using a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set and then the center was cut with a rectangle Nestabilities die.  I mounted the frame with mounting tape and then popped up the Thinking of You sentiment with mounting tape as well.  I finished by adding two pieces of white flourish and a simple pure white flower with a gray pearl in the center.  This is simple and elegant and didn’t really take very long to make.

I hope you have a great week and once again let me say how much I appreciate all of your supportive comments.

This card is glorious but you made me laugh when you said, **…This is simple and elegant and didn`t take very long for me to make it** Girl, nothing you make is simple … the Webster Dictionary actually needs to come up with a new word definition to describe your talented work, as well as you, Miss Kittie :)))
Have a wonderful Monday and week ahead. XoX
