The Free For All challenge on Splitcoaststampers this week was to create a monochromatic card. I saw this as another chance to use the Belleek Inspired Technique because it works so well with monochromatic themes.
I brayered ink on the inside front of the embossing folder, inserted the cardstock and ran through the Big Shot with the front side down. This technique creates such an elegant background allowing the vanilla cardstock to show the raised pattern.
I die cut the rectangle Fleur De Lis layer and then cut out the center to create the frame. I attached to the card base with mounting tape. I attached the flourishes to the frame and then attached the flowers. I finished the flower centers with tiny white pearls.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of rest, relaxation and stamping fun. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow!! Kittie, I think you are probably the best one using this technique my friend. I haven’t seen any other cards better than yours using it.

This is stunning, so summery and pretty!!
I love ALL your work Kitty! I want every single punch, die and stamp you use. I’ve been on a bit of a shopping spree this week thanks to you LOL! Can you tell me which type (size) of Spellbinder’s rectangle dies you use? I want to make sure I get the size that fits inside the Fleur de Lis die. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more of your stunning art ๐
Sigh!!! It’s early Saturday morning and you’ve already got me swooning . . . it’s gorgeous girl!
Stunning piece of artwork Kittie! I actually have a jacket that my Nanny made me over 20 yrs. ago (I keep it because the material is amazing, but also because my Nanny made it for me), to go with a black dress …. the background on the CS totally reminds me of it. Maybe it`s time I took it out of the closet and gave it some day light ๐ Have a wonderful weekend and take some time to sit back and relax.
As always your cards are beautiful pieces of art.
You’ve always listed the supplies you used but I love the fact that you’re posting a photo of the tools used for each project.
It makes it easier to see at a glance which tools I already have and the ones I HAVE/NEED to purchase LOL!
Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s creation!
