Hot Diggity Dog

My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Ways To Use It challenge “ Who Let The Dogs Out”.  I looked at this challenge when I was drinking my first cup of coffee Thursday morning before getting ready for work. I instantly thought of the dog and sentiment in the Rubbernecker Animal collection.

I stamped the dog on watercolor paper, colored and cut out to pop up in front of my little die cut scene. I attached the frame and grass to the blue base card and then mounted the frame over top of it.

I cut the tree die so I could use the little leaf sections for the branches. I die cut the branch and then attached the leaf sections. I attached the clouds in the sky and then attached the branches popping out of the frame and over the clouds. I attached tiny flowers to the grasses and popped the doggy up in front. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with my deckle scissors and attached for the finishing touch.

I  think this would be a fun card to give to a little boy or girl. There's lots going on in the scene but it was sure fun to create.

  1. Wuf Wuf — this card is just adorable especially with all the 3-D effects you created. Waiting for the dog to wag it`s tail and come to life!
