The April Craft a Scene theme is silhouettes. I pulled out a simple but fun Rubbernecker image called Dandelion Garden Border from the Wild Garden Collection.
I colored the stems of the dandelions with a green marker and then I painted the dandelion puffs with full thick white water color paint, dabbed it lightly to remove excess paint, spritzed a tiny bit with water and stamped on basic light blue cardstock.
I added some flourish foliage to create a little dimension. I thought the pure white punched frame was the perfect way to show off the white of the dandelions.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.

This is a beautiful card. I love the window and the cut flourishes for the 3d dimension.
What a great stamp Kittie ๐ Your brain is SOoo creative as to how you put water coloured paints on your rubber ~ it justs creates such a creamy texture on the puff balls. Cute!
I have not water colored with stamps for a very long time and now you have inspired me to do it again. Love how you have done it – beautiful!
So pretty! Even dandelions look beautiful when you add your touch to them! ๐ I love the little flourishes hanging out over the frame to give it so much dimension. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! ๐
Kittie,
What kind of water color paint did you use for the white fluffy dandelions? I would love to CASE this card for a special friend.
Thanks – as always, you are inspirational!
