We are on the downhill side of the week and I am looking forward to the weekend. How about you? I have another pair of love birds to share with you today. These are from the My Favorite Things Homespun Set.
I made the birdhouse out of the backside of the designer paper used on the card base. The picket fence is behind the house and flower garden but it is almost covered up. LOL! I used the spring border to create the flower garden but covered up the flowers with punched and formed baby blossoms. I softened the flower border with little sprigs from the branch punch.
I added ivy tendrils with tiny flowers to soften the scene a little more.
Have a great day and I appreciate you stopping by.

Ohh c`mon Kittie, you are killing me with your advanced-creativity 🙂 This birdhouse is perfect. The birds are adorable and all your flowers & fence just completes the scene. How did you ever discoverd you had this talent? Have you always made paper flowers or is this something you just discovered as you dove deeper into papercrafting? Yes I`d truly love to know.
Thank you again Kittie for posting so often … it`s like having a present to unwrap each day…. the anticipation kills me! ♥
magnifique! je suis en plein inspiration de tes créations car j’adore!
j’ai mis une carte sur mon blog qui est tout un scraplift de ton style, j’adore!
You have a great talent for creating flowers! I have only recently discovered your blog but I am having so much fun looking at all your past blogs and the flowers are amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
I love the piecing it’s really kind of addicting. I just checked out your picket fence tut and I went and purchased all the supplies to make it. Fantastically everything was on sale at the Impress Art website for 20% off. I can’t wait until it arrives. The more tedious something is the more I love it. I also love paper quilling and beading. I come here a lot and peek. I don’t get to do the paper arts as much as I would like because I have a crystal suncatcher shop where I make handmade ornaments and suncatchers. Sometimes I burn the midnight oil just to play with scissors and paper. Fun, Fun, Fun I love the birds in this card,, I am a crazy for birds!
Kittie, another stunning card. I love the love birds and, of course, all the little flowers. Everything just pops off the page.
KITTIE, you are amazing with your flowers…I love them each and everyone of them…I love how you explain everything….and THANK YOU for the Martha Stewart Branch Punch, I bought it as soon as I seen it…THANKS AGAIN…
what a lovely spring card. I must go spring shopping to make one close as possible. So darling. ..thanks for sharing……hugs
So sweet, I just love the trendils!
Kittie this is gorgeous. I love these sweet birds and that birdhouse. The garden in this scene is beautiful! Thanks again for all your inspiration.
I was so excited to find your site and all the wonderful cards. I want to use them for my inspiration and have already purchased some of the dies. BUT how disappointed when I can not find the branch punch anywhere. This punch makes so many of the cards and not have it makes me sad. Is Martha S going to bring it back as I am sure there is a demand. elli
