Welcoming Door

Good Sunday morning!  I got the Poppy Stamps Grand Madison Door in the mail this week and couldn’t wait to play with it.  I paired it with the Rubbernecker Poppy Panel background to create a sweet old-fashioned wallpaper.

I colored the image with Regal Rose, Old Olive and So Saffron markers, spritzed lightly with water and stamped it on white cardstock.  I how I made my own designer paper with the image. I die cut the door and attached to the base of the card.

I die cut the urns from the Papertrey Door to Door Accessory Die Collection using and attached on both sides of the door. I punched several pieces of foliage using my favorite Martha Stewart Branch punch. I found it available at JoAnn’s if you still looking for one.  I arranged the foliage in the urns and attached using Glossy Accents. I punched out multiple flowers using my Fiskars 1/4” flower punch.  Several people have asked where to find this punch but I can’t find them available any longer. I formed the flowers using my stylus and mat and attached in the foliage.  I added a small wreath on the door for a finishing touch.

I hope you are having a great weekend.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

  2. that stamp is perfect for wallpaper, and just love how you colored it, the urns and the flowers are a great finishing touch!
If you want to let everyone know, at Michaels in the dollar punch bin they have a little stamp that is the same style as the fiskars one that you can’t find anymore. If you want me to take a pic and send it to you I can.

  3. Love this Kittie!
I found my 1/4 inch punch at Hobby Lobby. It’s by Paper Studios and has the orange handle like yours. I’m slowly building my punches up, but can’t find the MS Cornflower punch since it’s discontinued. If anyone knows where I can get one, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks and I’ll keep drooling too. 😀

  4. Oh my, this is stunning, Kittie! I second what Conniecrafter said above about the little punch at Michael’s. I bought 3 when I found them, but would love to have the one with the handle, so will check at HL. Also, if anyone knows where I might find a MS holly punch like Kittie used in her posts I’d appreciate it very much. Thanks.

  5. This card is so pretty. I need to get some door and window dies!
I was lucky, I have a punch that makes identical flowers to your tiny punched ones, but mine has no name brand on it and silver handles rather than cushioned ones. They used to sell them in a discount store which closed (Ames) for $2. They had a lot of shapes, but unfortunately I only bought the flower one. I’ve used that punch more than any of my others!

  6. J’adore!!! J’aimerai tant pouvoir faire cette carte, mais je ne trouve pas la die porte, ni la perforatrice Martha Stewart, elle est en rupture chez nous.
    Encore bravo.
    J’adore ce que vous faite.
    Bises.
