Belleek Inspired Royal Rose

I have another Belleek Inspired project to share with you today that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge.

My favorite embossing folder for this technique is the Lattice pattern of this Sizzix folder because it shows up so nicely. I paired the lovely background with the My Favorite Things Royal Rolled Rose and Leafy Flourish.

I brayered the front inside section of the embossing folder with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, placed my paper in and then ran the folder through my Big Shot with the front side of the folder facing down.

I cut the Romantic Rectangle and then used a long rectangle die to cut the frame opening. I attached the frame to the embossed layer using mounting tape. I assembled attached the two Leafy Flourish pieces on the corner of the frame and then attached the rose.  I added the crisp Punch Bunch fern foliage pieces under the flourish and around the rose to soften the flower spray. I finished by adding a few tiny pink flowers.  I love how this turned out.  It is both elegant and romantic.
