Birdhouse Gift Set

Happy Sunday morning!  I have a gift set to share with you today that I gave to a friend for her birthday.

I made the card to match a birdhouse I had made a while back. You can see the full post and multiple pictures of the birdhouse here.

I used dies from several companies to create this card but it all goes so well together.  I cut the birdhouse using My Favorite Things Homespun Birdhouse die set. I attached it on the card base using mounting tape for dimension.

I cut the fence using the Our Daily Bread fence border. It is small enough to fit nicely on the house and not overpower it. I cut the tree branch using Memory Box Leafy Branch using light green cardstock and colored the branches with a Tea Dye Distress Marker. I attached it to the card base using Glossy Accents.

I created the nest using Martha Stewart’s Branch Punch and the bird using Stampin’ Up!’s Bird Punch. The flowers were cut using the Memory Box Flower Mound Punch.  I attached the smallest flowers to the leafy branch and the larger to the nest.  I sponged Aged Mahogany Distress Ink on the bird to add depth of color and attached it to the nest using mounting tape. I love how the white and green birdhouse pops against the red polka dot paper.
