Soft Spring Window

Good Saturday morning!  Have you seen the sweet Baby Steps designer Paper by Simple Stories?  There are so many fun patterns and I thought the two that I used on my project today made perfect wall paper for my window card.

I cut the Poppy Stamps Grand Madison Window using vanilla cardstock and cut a smaller vanilla piece to sponge clouds on with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the outdoor scene. The Memory Box Leafy Branch was cut using green  cardstock and the branches were colored with a Vintage Photo Distress Marker.

I layered the designer paper on the card front and put a crimped piece of vanilla on to divide and to appear as chair rail. I layered the scene over the paper and attached the branches.  I layered the window over the scene with mounting tape and then added foliage on the lower side of the window.  I created lots of little flowers with the Memory Box Flower Mound and attached to the foliage. I stamped the little bird from the Impression Obsession Sold Tree set with versa on the light blue paper, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then cut out and placed on the branch for a finishing touch. This is a simple project and easy to do.  I love the branches outside the window.

I hope you have a wonderful and restful weekend.  Thanks for stopping by.
