Piles of Falling Leaves

Good Friday morning.  Don’t ask what got into me last night as I made this card.  I wanted to play with the new Impression Obsession Leaves die set and ended up creating one big pile of leaves right in the middle of the card.  I guess you could say I took artistic liberty and threw normal design out the window to create my own seasonal change.  I  love all the different colors and must admit I am envious of those of you who live in areas and get to experience the wonders of fall.

I cut all the different leaves and formed them all with a stylus and mat. I sponged ink quite liberally on each leave to add depth of color.

I just started adding leaves to the card front and creating the pile.  I had originally planned on trying to make a wreath but some of the leaves are large so I went for the pile design.  LOL!  Strange or not I had to share it with you today.

  2. Good Morning, Kittie, strange or not it is a beautiful fall card. Just love those gorgeous colors, and I really like the different concept of falling leaves over the wreath you talked about. I too miss the fall colors and leaves here in Texas. … thanks for sharing…have a good day.
