Fancy Pink Ornament

Good Tuesday morning!  I know we don’t usually think of pink for a Christmas color but I thought this Fancy Ornament by Impression Obsession would be so perfect ink pink.

I brayered pink on the dotted embossing folder to create a soft background.  I cut the ornament in pink and cut a second plain white circle to fit behind it. I applied versa to the top of the ornament and embossed with gold embossing powder.  I cut the Impression Obsession Square Shaker Frame and attached to the card base with mounting tape

I attached the ornament in the circle using mounting tape and attached the gold holder above that.  I created a simple pink taffeta bow and added a couple sprigs of pine and holly to finish.  The next time I play with this ornament die I’m going to gold emboss the whole thing.

I’m glad you came and I hope you have a great day.

  1. Absolutely beautiful ornament. I love all your work. Your cards a very original and different. NO ONE makes cards like you do, I look at a lot of blogs and no one makes them like you. I get your blog in my mail so I don’t come to your blog. I was shocked more people don’t comment, they should. Your so generous in showing how to make your cards. I do enjoy to see what you make every post. Thanks for always sharing with us, your cards are the BOMB…
