Christmas House Card

Good Friday morning.  As you have probably noticed, I love making house projects.  My card today is another Christmas themed house  brightly decorated with another piece of Tina Wenke’s holiday designer paper and festive red bows and pine boughs.

I created the roof by die cutting the lovely border and crimping for added dimension.  I attached it to the top of the card with mounting tape. I used the same border to create the decorative window shades and attached to the back of each window.  I cut the door and attached it over a piece of white paper and cut out to close the door frame. I attached the window and doors to the card base with glossy accents and attached the picket fence with mounting tape.

I punched lots of pine branches and created the all the boughs of foliage on the windows, door, fence and roof.  I finished with the tiny red bows.

I hope your Friday is the beginning of a wonderful and restful weekend.  Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Hi Kittie, I recently subscribed to your blog after seeing your beautiful cards on Split Coast Stampers. Your creations are wonderful – your details and artistry are so inspirational. I live close to Ellen Hutson, and like one of your other commenters, have increased my orders with her based on your use of the many tools she has on offer. You need to be a guest on Martha Stewart’s show one day, to showcase the way you use her punches. Thanks for sharing with all of us!
