Oh….Let It Snow

Good Monday morning.  I have a sparkly snowflake project to share with you today using the wonderful Impression Obsession Snowflakes set and the large snowflake from the Mitten set.

I thought the Swiss dot background was the perfect textured background for this white on white snowflake project. All the snowflakes were covered with glossy accents and dipped in glitter to add lots of sparkle.  Sadly the sparkle doesn’t show well in the photos. Actually, I am always excited by how pretty white on white projects are until I remember how hard they are to get good photos of.  LOL! None of my photos do this project justice.

I layered the snowflakes around the sentiment attaching with glossy accents.  Each snowflake has three layers. Here’s a little closer view so you can see some of the sparkly glitter.

I love how intricate these snowflakes dies are.  I always use a piece of waxed paper between the die and cardstock as it helps release the paper from the die after cutting.KC Impression Obsession Snowflakes 1 left

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by.

  6. I absolutely love your cards! I am starting to squire a collection of dies now; like the ones you use. How do you store them? Right now I have all the Spellbinders on their cards & the others in their envelopes but I’m always digging. I would appreciate it if you would share your storage tips. Thank you & have a Happy Thanksgiving!
