Good Tuesday morning. I have a fun mitten shaped card to share with you today with a big sparkly snowflake. I had so much fun on Sunday sparkling up the snowflakes for my project that I just had to pull out the glitter again.
I cut the mitten with a folded piece of white cardstock and allowing the folded edge to be slightly inside the edge of the die so the card front and back would stay connected. I cut another mitten out of designer paper and cut coordinating paper pieces for the cuff and top area of the mitten. I attached the green ribbon to the pieces and attached to the base of the mitten.
I cut two different size snowflakes using the Snowflakes set, covered them glossy accents and dipped them in glitter. I attached the largest snowflake to the base with a small piece of mounting tape and then attached the smaller snowflake with mounting tape to add space between them for dimension. I think these dies make the prettiest snowflake ever. Here’s a closer view to show the sparkle.
I thought a simple button and green knotted ribbon would be the perfect finish. This would be such a fun Christmas or winter card for a child. This die is also the perfect size to make a big mitten tag.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Dit is echt een leuke kaart, mooi !
I love the colors in the paper for this card…. absolutely stunning… I can see making it and using it as a gift card holder… thank you so much for sharing your wonderful creativity
Really love the papers you used.. And the snowflakes really sparkle.. Really cute.
Great papers for the mitten. Love the sparkly snowflakes.
Snowflakes are my favourite winter embellishment…these are beautiful decorating the mitten card! This is a lovely card for any age!
Darling card! I love what you are doing with the snowflakes. Do you brush on the Glossy Accents before you put on the glitter? Just really love the look of those snowflakes. A bunch of them would look lovely hanging from some ribbon in a window. You have the best ideas. Happy Thanksgiving!
