Good Thursday morning. Welcome to the Impression Obsession design team challenge. Our challenge today is What’s Your Hobby?
For my project I used the Arch and Trellis, Layered Floral Set, and Vine
It didn’t take me long to decide what hobby I wanted to write about today. Paper crafting has been my passion since I became involved ten years ago. A friend of mine invited me to a Stampin’ Up! stamp camp and the rest is history. My long time favorite technique has been creating scenes with stamped images and watercolor. With the introduction of die cut images my passion for scenes has gradually changed to creating dimensional die cut scenes and floral projects.
I love the new Arch and Trellis set and I thought it would be lovely highlighted with a double matted frame. I cut several flowers and vines, formed the flowers with my stylus and mat and attached them to both the arch and trellis with glossy accents..
I attached mounting tape to the frame, arch and trellis. I mounted the frame in place first and then tucked the bottom of the arch in behind the opening of the frame. I attached the trellis in last. I finished by adding the red tabs on both sides of the frame for one added element of red. I can hardly wait to put this lovely arch and trellis into an outdoor garden scene.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
Thanks for coming by today.

Another beauty, Kittie. Love these dies. The pop of red with the stark white is stunning.
This is beautiful Kittie.
Gorgeous, I just love the dimension the dies give to a scene also and you do a terrific job with them!
Love the red tabs, a perfect touch that you added. Thanks for sharing your hobby with us. I find a lot of inspiration in your creations.
Lovely! TFS 😉
Good Morning, Kittie, a trellis of flowers makes a beautiful picture. Not seen as much in gardens anymore, but those who do garden love the elegant look. can see a park bench in front of the trellis and smell the spring flowers reading a good book…..love it, love it…have a good day.
Love the look of this card, clean because of the white, but opulent with the treillis and flowers. Gorgeous !
Wow another great card! Would love to have this trellis in my garden with lovely wisteria climbing all over it. Your cards are always so beautiful…I can only dream of being so talented.
You are the queen of these types of die cut scenes Kittie!! No one does it better than you. Another gorgeous card!!!
Just gorgeous, Kittie! I love the red and white! And yes, we are neighbors! I am just outside of Lakeland, FL! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog!
Hugs!
