Yellow Love Birds

Good Wednesday morning.  My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge to use Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Daffodil Delight.

Here’s what I came up with.

KC Impression Obsession Love Birds 2 left

I cut the frame using the Paper Smooches Duo Die 3 and mounted to the card base using mounting tape.  I cut the Love Birds die once in green and the bird sections again in yellow.  I attached the yellow birds to the green with glossy accents.  I cut a flourish to add and extend the branch and attached with glossy accents.  I used piece of mounting tape to attach the bird and branches to the frame.

I rolled three tiny roses using the spiral flowers and attached to the branches.  I cut and molded several tiny flowers cut using the flower mound and attached along with tiny sprigs of foliage from the branch punch.  I like how simple, sweet and cheerful this is.

Thanks for Stopping by and have a great day.

  3. Its been too long since I was last here but I’ve scrolled down and admired – and occasionally gasped – at your marvellous creations. These little birdies on their swirly branch are lovely but there have been some real faves on my journey; your flowers (in your post of 11 march), your hydrangea cards and the cute little bunny with his umbrella. Lovely, lovely work, Kittie! Hugs, Lesley
