Good Saturday afternoon. I am excited to be able to post today from my new computer but it hasn’t been an easy transition. I have said in my posts many times that I am a technically challenged person. Windows 8 is so different and foreign to me that I almost cried when I first opened it. Little by little I am getting used to it though. Can you tell that I am set in my ways and that I “hate” change. LOL!
My project today was made using the new Memory Box Palace Oval Frame. I paired it with the beautiful Affection sentiment by Impression Obsession and the Spiral Flowers and Leaf Cluster.
I cut the frames, applied versa directly to them and then embossed with gold embossing powder. I applied versa to the edges of the ovals with a versa marker and embossed with gold powder. I attached the large frame to the card base with glossy accents. I applied versa to the tiny leaves with the versa marker and embossed with gold powder.
I attached sentiment layer inside the frame opening on the card base with mounting tape. The smaller frame was applied over the sentiment layer with glossy accents. I arranged the leaves and roses and attached them to the framed sentiment with glossy accents. This card is really so much prettier in person than can be seen in the pictures. I always have a hard time getting good photos of gold embossing.
I hope you are having a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

This is a beautiful frame die. You made it even more gorgeous with your details. I know what you mean about Windows 8. I hate change, too. Nothing works right and I hate all those little “tiles”. I don’t need all that mess. I can spend hours trying to “fix” a problem I accidentally cause.
Thank goodness we don’t have to depend on a computer to cr4aft.
Beautiful card! I think your photo is beautiful! (Next time get an iMac–so user friendly:)
Beautiful card, so ornate and delicate. Love your detail of gold on the leaf edges.
Gorgeous card. I love that ornate frame and how you embossed it in gold. Your little roses are so sweet. Mine just don’t look like yours – I guess I just need more practice. Good luck with the computer. I upgraded to Windows 7 a few months ago and that was a big enough change. Soon I’m going to have to upgrade my office computer and I’m dreading it.
I have a new laptop too with windows 8 and am struggling! It is soooo different! I don’t like it at all so far! Ugh! Change is hard and a time eater!
Love your card! The gold is so pretty!
Your card is beautiful Kittie, give yourself some time with windows 8, you’ll get used to it, ask me how I know.
good afternoon, Kittie, love your card, for some reason my comment was lost, you are doing a super job with embossing, and pictures. All creations come over super. And your explanations are so helpful…. so not to worry,…..have a good week-end.
Regal, elegant, beautiful. Amazing Kittie!!!
