Penguins and Merry Wishes

Good Monday morning!  I have a fun multi fold holiday card to share with you today made using the Impression Obsession Penguin and Igloo Set, Small Snowflake Set, Fir Sprig Set and the sentiment from the Christmas Tree Set.

I was intrigued by a multi fold card I found made by Darlene at Darlene Design.com. She made the cutest holiday card and had a video tutorial that you may want to check out.

I cut a 5.5” x 12” piece of cardstock and scored at 2”, 4” and 8”.  I cut two 5.5” pieces of cardstock to cut and crimped for my ground snow and attached them to the card base.  I cut two sets of snowflakes and attached them in the sky area of the card base.

I cut out two sets of penguins, colored the nose and feet with an orange marker and assembled them.  I cut the igloo once and then cut just the front door portion out a second time so I could pop it up on the igloo base for a little definition and dimension. I couldn’t resist adding some holiday evergreen and berry decorations although I don’t think there are trees in the artic.  LOL!  Smile I added touches of glitter to the snowflakes and decorations to add some sparkle but it doesn’t really show well in the photos.
