Good Wednesday morning. I still had the silver shimmer paper out on my desk from my white on white project and decided to use it with the Memory Box Grand Merry Christmas die paired with the Poppystamps Blooming Poinsettia, Holly Vine and Impression Obsession Pine Branch. I have to admit all this silver is a little more over the top than my norm but it really is pretty and much, much prettier in person than I could capture in the photo.
I cut the sentiment layer and mounted it on the silver card base with mounting tape to add dimension. I cut a few layers of the poinsettia in both white and silver, formed with my stylus and molding pad and attached the sections together with glossy accents. I cut the pine branch, molded them lightly with the stylus and molding pad and attached to the sentiment layer with glossy accents.
I attached the poinsettia to the pine branches and tucked in a couple of pieces of holly vine for the finishing touch. There will be no silver tomorrow.
I still haven’t heard from Barbara Thomassen, winner of my blog candy. If she doesn’t get in touch with me by Friday I will do another random drawing for a new winner.
I hope you are having a good day and I appreciate you stopping by.
This is just SOOOO beautiful! I am sure the photo does not do it all its justice. Would LOVE to see it in person! Fabulous. Just sayin’.
Love this. So beautiful and elegant.

What a BEAUTY again!!
In one word WONDERFUL!!

Kittie….don’t worry, the card is wonderful not only in person, but also on the photo.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, Kittie! The silver and white is beautiful. LOVE the poinsettia w/the white pine branches. 🙂
Kittie, this is just gorgeous!! All of my favorite holiday things on one card… silver, glitter (sparkle) and a poinsettia! I love how you made some of the flower petals (guess I should really say “leaves” since the actual flowers of the poinsettia are the little yellow blooms in the center) out of the glitter paper. If I’m lucky enough to get my hands on that Merry Christmas die sometime in the coming new year this might just have to be my Christmas card for next year. My card list is a short one so making several of these wouldn’t be too difficult.
I didn’t get to leave a comment yesterday, but I also wanted to tell you how pretty that CAS white on white card was. You gals who punch thick glitter paper with a Martha Stewart punch amaze me. I guess I’m too protective of my MS punches, but I’m always afraid I’ll break them if I use paper that is too thick.
What a gorgeous card! Love all the sparkle Kittie!
Kittie, Kittie, Kittie….. This is absolutely gorgeous…. another stunning card….
I love the mono colors and of course the bling…. thx for sharing your creativity
OMGosh, now this is what I call “GORGEOUS, STUNNING, AND ELEGANT.” You’re amazingly talented.
No way there is too much silver here! It’s gorgeous, classy and elegant. Love it!
Wow!!!! Kittie this card is absolutely gorgeously beautiful!!! I love it! White and silver for Christmas is beautiful, you have inspired me with this colour combination. I might be tempted to add aqua or light pink, no colour would be very hard for me to do. Poinsettias and pine branches and Merry Christmas are my favourites. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card and for the creative inspiration.
